Coastal Therapeutics is an outpatient Charleston Physical Therapy Center serving the area since 1991. As professional Charleston Physical Therapists we are committed to one on one care for all our patients. We specialize in myofascial release, manual therapy techniques, and individualized rehabilitation programs designed for your specific needs, and goals. Our staff of Charleston Physical Therapists has over 40 years of combined experience treating a wide variety of injuries and disease processes.

Coastal Therapeutics Staff

Vicky Connelly was born in Plymouth, England. She received her BS in Physical Therapy in 1988 from Florida International University. She opened Coastal Therapeutics in 1991. Vicky serves as a clinical instructor for the Medical University of South Carolina. She has completed continuing education in golf fitness, Mulligan spine and extremity mobilization, myofascial release, and geriatric orthopedics.

Shefali (Shef) Shirali was born in Mumbai, India and received her BS in physical therapy in 1982 from the University of Bombay. Over the span of 28 years she has practiced in Mumbai, Huston, Texas, Redlands, California, and now Charleston since 1998. She has completed multiple continuing education courses in myofascial release, McKenzie and Mulligan spine and extremity treatment techniques, geriatric balance disorders and orthopedic rehabilitation.

Nancy Rourk is a native Charlestonian. She is the office manager and joined Coastal Therapeutics in 2000. She handles all patient data and billing information. She will assist you in scheduling your appointments at a time that will suit your schedule and will answer most of your insurance questions.
